Friendbuy is rapidly growing and we are looking for our next strategic hire to fill a mission critical role as a Solutions Engineer. As a Solutions Engineer, you will support the Sales and Customer Success teams and serve as the ‘tech master’ in all conversations with prospects and clients.  To excel at this role, you must be adept at conveying technical concepts to varying audiences (both internally and externally) to help solve some of the most advanced business problems. You are dynamic, passionate about technology and are a resourceful problem solver.  You will also provide valuable client feedback to our Product Team – a critical component in our process for innovation.

 What you’ll be doing...

  • Communicate highly technical concepts to a variety of audiences, from software engineers to executive-level decision makers
  • Work cross-functionally between teams, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering
  • Serve as the technical resource in sales meetings and conversations with existing clients 
  • Collaborate with Sales team to complete complex RFPs and security questionnaires
  • Engage business leaders across the client’s organization to educate them on how best to leverage friendbuy’s technology
  • Serve as the liaison between Customer Success, Sales and Engineering to help triage and prioritize feature enhancements and bug fixes
  • Collaborate with our Product and Partnerships teams to inform product direction and integrations with other relevant technologies
  • Acquire market intelligence through customer development
  • Constantly learn, stay up-to-date on competitive solutions, products and services
 Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success or equivalent
  • History of Digital marketing, Email marketing or any aspect of B2B SaaS preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must; strong presentation skills are highly desirable
  • Proficient at understanding and communicating technical concepts such as APIs and Javascript integrations
  • Experience with debugging tools, browser dev tools, HTML and CSS preferrable
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Asana or Salesforce is desirable
  • Organized and able to operate in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Problem-solving skills that enable you to identify the best solutions, given a list of prospect business requirements
  • A positive, team-first attitude, and an intrinsic desire to help your colleagues and peers
  • Ability to give and receive honest feedback (while still being a fun person to work with)
